Hi

This is Neener Nanner, a 5.5 week-old kitten I have been fostering for the past five-and-a-half weeks.

On Wednesday, June 2nd she was found in my Uncle's toolbox at his work. She wasn't there the day before, so it was obvious the kitten was a newborn. After an entire workday of the mother not showing up, the kitten was passed down to me to take care of.

It was a bumpy ride at first, but things eventually got easier. By three weeks old the kitten took its first trip to the vet office. Turned out the kitten couldn't have been any healthier. I'm proud to say I've taken extremely good care of her.

However, now she's nearly 6 weeks old, and my time to act as her mother is up. Today is her last day with me, and I will miss her dearly. She is going to live with my Auntie now.

I wish I didn't have to give her up. We have grown very attached to each other, and we love each other dearly.


I can't be totally sad she's leaving though. After all, taking care of a kitten from day one was an amazing experience. I feel honoured to have raised such an amazing cat.

I'll see her again in a month when I return from Chicago.
